Shattered Dreams – minor anti-drinking program

Since the program’s inception in 1997, a group of individuals have worked tirelessly to develop, promote, and sustain Shattered Dreams / D.E.A.D. the Minor Anti-Drinking campaign under the auspices of the Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission. One is a Trauma nurse who educates teens on the devastating injuries and loss of life that she witnesses on a daily basis. A second nurse helps provide the expertise to create realistic scenarios for crash victims, a third founder has taken the lead in promoting

legislation regarding child passenger safety.
